Founder and highly qualified trainer and coach Maryanne Perkins has more than 25 years experience in the sports conditioning and fitness industries.
Maryanne’s experience has included working with elite athletes to help them attain their peak fitness and performance levels, but Maryanne also believes health and fitness are not only for the elite.
We provide an energetic and encouraging environment for everyone, regardless of age and ability.
There is a large range of classes, from kids’ fitness to yoga, and metafit to run groups.
Current clients span the ages between 5 and 91, and among them are people with disabilities and special needs, cancer patients, mental health patients, weight loss clients, beginners, recreational exercisers, runners, and elite athletes.
Gunnedah Health & Fitness Co is Gunnedah’s original bootcamp and metafit, and also offers personal training, tailored sports and athletics coaching, school sessions, corporate sessions and sporting club fitness training.

I joined GHFC to rehabilitate my knee after a full ACL reconstruction. Six months later not only was I back playing sports but I also felt fitter than before. I have continued to exercise with GHFC and since then my wife and kids have also joined the various programs available. We made amazing friends, shared great moments together and we continue to enjoy our healthy life style! We definitely recommend it!

I have been a member of GHFC for just over twelve months and I have grown in strength and confidence.
